Nobody can price a shutter repair honestly over the phone without knowing what's failed. What we can do is explain exactly what drives the number, so the quote you get makes sense rather than arriving as a surprise.
What Drives The Price
Which component has failed, how big and how accessible the shutter is, whether the part is standard or has to be fabricated, whether you need us out of hours, and whether other components have been damaged by continuing to use it. That last one is the avoidable expense.
We quote before starting work, separate the callout from the repair so you can see both, and price fabricated parts separately with your agreement before we make them.
An end lock is a different order of job to a motor, barrel or full curtain.
Height, headroom and whether access equipment is needed all affect labour.
Obsolete profiles we make ourselves — slower than a stock part, but far cheaper than a new shutter.
Out-of-hours and emergency attendance costs more than a planned daytime visit.

How We Quote
Assess, quote, agree, then work — including on emergencies, where we tell you the callout charge before we set off.
The fault diagnosed properly on site rather than guessed, so the quote reflects the real repair.
Callout, labour, parts and any fabrication itemised, with the option to proceed or not.
Where a planned service would prevent repeat failures, we'll say so and price that rather than keep coming back.
Ring the 24-hour line. You'll be told the callout charge before we set off and quoted for the repair before any work starts.
