Most shutter companies order a curtain from a manufacturer and bolt it on. We do it the other way round: we measure your opening, then build the shutter to those measurements in our own Yorkshire warehouse. That means odd sizes, awkward lintels and older buildings aren't a problem, and it means a fault later is our problem to fix, not a supplier's.

It also keeps the price honest. There's no middleman markup between the steel and your shopfront, and the person who quotes the job is from the same team that builds and installs it.

Questions Before
You Order.

How much does a new roller shutter cost?
It depends on the opening size, the shutter type and whether it's manual or electric — a small manual shopfront shutter and a wide insulated industrial door are very different jobs. We survey the opening and give you a fixed written price rather than a range that changes later.
How long does it take from order to installation?
Once we've measured up, most shutters are manufactured and fitted within two to three weeks. Because we build in our own Yorkshire warehouse we're not waiting on a third-party supplier's lead time.
Manual or electric — which should I choose?
Electric makes sense for anything used several times a day, anything wide, or anywhere staff would struggle with the weight. Manual is fine for smaller shopfront openings used once at opening and once at closing.
What finishes can I have?
Galvanised as standard, or powder coated to a RAL colour to match your branding or a shopfront scheme. Perforated and punched curtains are available where you want visibility when the shutter is down.
Do you remove the old shutter?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the existing shutter is part of the installation, and we make good the fixings and guides so the new one sits properly.
Is there a guarantee?
Every shutter we manufacture and install is guaranteed, and because we're local we're the people who come back out — not a call centre passing you to a subcontractor.
